Relay For Life
This project is being sponsored by the 2010 Relay For Life team Tiger Temptresses and Tempters from the College of Technology at Idaho State University. Our goals in hosting this challenge are simple:
  • To help raise funds and awareness for Relay For Life and the efforts of the American Cancer Society in eliminating the scourge of cancer from the world.
  • To help promote healthy living and weight loss at the College of Technology, Idaho State University, and the Pocatello area.
  • To have fun and encourage a sense of community, support, and general wellness.
    • This challenge will cover eight weeks, culminating at the Relay for Life event on July 16th, 2010. The event will be held at the Century High School Track in Pocatello, Idaho.

    Since I am running this project, I guess I had better attach a face to a name.  If you are interested in creating a small bio for others to see, please feel free to send it to me so I can post it here.  We will use this area to list the participants.  Don't feel obligated to include a photo, like I have, but it does help establish a sense of identity here.  You can also use avatars or icons (though I beg of you all, no cutesy pictures of kittens...please!!!).

    I am doing this because I desperately need some motivation to get the weight off from my last baby that is now almost 2.  I am also a big supporter of Relay for Life and while I am on another team I am always looking for opportunities to help out!  Plus, I am always trying to be healthier but don't always have great self control when it comes to sugar. . .go figure!
